At BRL, sustainability is a fundamental part of the way we operate and approach the design and delivery processes of our developments. We strive to minimise our own impact on the environment whilst creating sustainable and positive developments for our future.

We address sustainability with design that balances quality, energy efficiency and cost effectiveness at all stages of the project, whilst maintaining a high level of design and aesthetic.

Our approach is tailored to each project. Whilst providing the usual high quality services required by our clients, we will seek to implement sustainable design on all of our projects and to specify and use materials and processes which have no undue negative environmental impact, which are efficient in their consumption of energy and which can be recycled, reused or disposed of safely, in order to have a long-lasting impact on present and future generations.

As a means of constantly improving our architecture, we carry out Post Occupancy Evaluations of our projects to monitor building performance and gain invaluable information to constantly improve future design.
